Some of the associations listed are not environmental or science-oriented, however they are listed because the MELDI staff believes that they might be of interest to users who want to know about them or affiliate with them.  This site also lists several associations that have an ethnic focus.  Sites listed under the "Other Environmental Professional Associations" category tend to target those interested in specific environmental disciplines.
