Fellowships carrying stipends of up to $850 per month for
up to nine months are available to support research in the
social sciences and humanities in the priority areas above.
The purpose of the fellowship is to offer graduate students
an opportunity to conduct part of their doctoral research
in Canada. Eligible applicants are fulltime doctoral students
at accredited four year U.S. and Canadian colleges and universities
whose dissertations are related in substantial part to the
study of Canada, Canada/U.S., or Canada/North America. Candidates
must be citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. and should
have completed all doctoral requirements except their dissertations
at the time of application.
