Summary:
At Global Blade Technology (GBT) we provide the wind energy industry with tailor-made blade technology. GBT is organized in three businesses: Engineering, Design & Consultancy (ED&C), Molds, Tooling & Prototyping (MT&P) and Production. Because of the rapid growth of our ED&C and MT&P businesses, we are expanding our global team. For our new composite workshop in Evansville, Indiana, USA, we are looking for several Production Technicians. In this challenging role you will be working in one or more aspects of the production processes in our new mould production operation.
Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for one or more of the production processes used in blade manufacturing (e.g. composite manufacturing, structural bonding, product handling,surface preparation, non destructive testing)
- Responsible for continuous improvement of the production processes as well as selecting and qualifying new processes
- Responsible for the generic process specifications and the detail design drawings and production manuals of our designs
- Participate in multidisciplinary technical and/or commercial project teams to develop processes or product designs
Qualifications Include:
- Finished higher technical education
- Engineering experience in hand-layup and/or vacuum laminate methods
- Working experience in composite manufacturing preferred
- Fluent in English
- Experience with hand-lay-up and/or vacuum assisted laminating/molding techniques
- Knowledge and experience of resin systems
- Ability to work autonomous, but also as a team player
- No 9 to 5 attitude
- Technical insight
- Detail focused

Field & Plant Production Personnel
Summary:
AgReliant Genetics is the fastest growing independent seed company in the industry. Our goal is to offer the best seed products to our North American customers through superior research, breeding and production techniques by focusing ONLY on seed. We are currently seeking Field & Plant Production Personnel for our Kanakee Location. Oversee an assigned seed production growing area from planting to detasseling and work as a "hands on" supervisor where needed at our production plant in the off season.
Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for maintaining the highest level of confidentiality, customer service and professionalism; responsible for promoting a positive image of the company.
- Work with our contract growers to insure a adequate and pure supply of seed by timing pest control and irrigation needs
- Oversee planting of females and delayed male splits
- Manage detasseling and machine operations, insuring timeliness and efficiency
- Crop scouting
- Determine isolation needs
- Maintain records and turn in accurate reports timely
- Work needed plant positions for harvest
- Operate conditioning tower and/or manage a hands on loading crew during shipping Other duties as needed
Qualifications Include:
Capable of lifting 70 pounds, able to walk seed fields for scouting (+/- 5 miles day), must meet Company Motor Vehicle Guidelines, some overnight travel may be required.
