Diversity Initiatives

This part of the website contains databases of academic diversity initiatives, professional consulting firms and educational profiles. The purpose of these databases is to establish a guide for students, professionals and hiring institutions alike that will be used for progressing towards a unified approach to a sustainable, just and more inclusive environment.

• Diversity and Race Relations Consultants. This is a listing of consulting resources that offer diversity training, strategic direction and policies to individuals and environmental hiring institutions
• Colleges, Professional Diversity Programs and Initiatives. This is a listing of programs that are designed to help recruit and retain minority students in the environmental field and the sciences in general. Additionally, they provide mentoring, networking opportunities, and career and leadership development to environmental professionals
• Environmental Education. This is a listing of environmental K-12 institutions as well as programs and learning centers that highlight the creative and innovative ways youth are educated about environmental stewardship.
